3. Keep nitroglycerin avaliable during dental visit in case dental visits precipitate angina attacks. Client/Family Teaching

1. Practice frequent careful oral hygiene to minimize the incidence and severity of drug-induced gingival hy-perplasia.

2. Need for frequent visits with a dental health professional if hyperpla-sia occurs.
