Suspension Tablets

Pharyngitis, tonsillitis, acute sinusitis.

Adults and children over 13 years of age: 500 mg q 24 hr for at least 10 days (especially for S. pyogenes infections). Children, 2—12 years of age: 7.5 mg/kg q 12 hr for at least 10 days (especially for S. pyogenes infections).

Secondary bacterial infections of acute bronchitis and acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis. Adults and children over 13 years of age: 500 mg q 12 hr for 10 days.

Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections. Adults and children over 13 years of age: Either 250 mg q 12 hr, 500 mg q 24 hr, or 500 mg q 12 hr (all for a duration of 10 days).

Otitis media. Infants and children 6 months—12 years: 15 mg/kg q 12 hr for 10 days.
