Inflammatory pseudotumor (IPT) (plasma cell granuloma, inflammatory myofibroblasts pseudotumor) refers to a spectrum of idiopathic benign conditions with unknown etiology that can develop in various organs and deep tissues, particularly in the lung. Whatever the anatomic location, the lesions share common histological features, namely good circumscription, proliferation of myofibroblasts/fibroblasts, a mixed cell infiltrate containing high numbers of plasma cells, and often reactive germinal centers (1). There are only a few reports on cutaneous IPT.
