Clinical advisers

The clinical advisers include the clinicians who suggested the trial (one of whom is likely to be the principal investigator) and so have a personal commitment to it. They should include at least one member for each of the treatment modalities under study. They help write the protocol and promote the trial. They are responsible for clinical aspects at all stages and for answering relevant queries. They may present results at conferences and help draft reports for publication. Ideally, they should have experience in the conduct of trials.
