International collaboration between trials centres

We discuss the practicalities of collaboration between trials groups in Section 7.10. Established trials centres can readily collaborate internationally to undertake trials that might otherwise not be feasible, as they provide a focus for many clinical centres within a country, and have defined procedures and infrastructures for such collaborative efforts. From time to time, therefore, established trials centres can organize international meetings to discuss areas of research in which international planning is likely to be needed. These areas can include broad clinical research strategy aimed at encouraging complementarity
