Newsletters and annual reports

An excellent way for a trials centre to keep a large number of collaborators, interested individuals, sponsors and other trials centres and groups generally informed about its whole programme of trials and related research is to produce regular newsletters and annual reports and to circulate these widely.

Newsletters typically relate to specific areas of the programme, such as individual cancer sites. They keep collaborating clinicians and others informed about the progress of the relevant trials and encourage collaboration.

Annual reports provide an overall picture of the work of the centre, helping readers to decide which trials they might like to join. The most helpful reports are set out attractively and logically, for easy reference, and show, at a glance, whom to contact for further information on any particular topic or trial.
