The characteristics of an established trials centre

The functions of trials coordinating staff in running individual trials and as members of site-specific groups, planning groups and trial management groups have been described in earlier chapters. These particularly relate to having an internationally recognized centre of excellence with accumulated experience and expertise in all aspects of conducting cancer trials.
