Behets syndrome

► Behçet's disease lesions in the anogenital area; generalized lymphadenopathy; painful osteoperiostitis in the long bones

Tertiary (late) stage: gummas which destroy bone and cartilage, particularly of the nose, causing saddle nose deformity

Differential diagnosis

Syphilis; yaws; pinta; atopic dermatitis; der-matophytosis; psoriasis; leprosy; herpes simplex virus infection; perleche; condylomata acuminata; lupus vulgaris; lupus erythematosus; squamous cell carcinoma
