Desorption Study

The colloidal properties of such stimulus-responsive colloidal particles were principally temperature dependent and reversible. Consequently, the desorption of preadsorbed protein should also be temperature dependent as illustrated below (Fig. 8). In the following sections, the effects of various parameters on protein preadsorbed onto thermally sensitive latexes are presented and discussed. The first study in this domain investigated the effect of temperature on the preadsorbed amount above the volume phase transition temperature (such as 40°C).
