Rationale

Epinephrine

Preparation and dose varies by route, which can be intravenous, subcutaneous, intramuscular, sublingually, or down the endotracheal tube if necessary. Subcutaneous dose is 0.3-0.5 mg of a 1:1000 solution and repeated at 20-minute intervals. For protracted cases, an epinephrine drip may be used intravenously.
