Angioma Cherry Angioma

Most common benign cutaneous vascular growth, which increases in size and number with age.

History: asymptomatic; uncommonly bleeds with trauma

Physical: Cherry-red dome-shaped round papules predominantly on trunk of adults; 0.5-5 mm. Investigations: Biopsy if diagnosis doubtful. DDx: Angiokeratoma, insect bite, melanoma.

Management

Treatment for cosmetic purposes

Tx options: shave excision, electrodessication, vascular laser, cryotherapy
